CLASS DESCRIPTIONS

Free Beginner Class – every week we host a free basics class to get you familiar with the practice of yoga. Never stepped foot in a yoga room but ready to take the leap? Try our beginner class today. You will leave with the confidence, knowledge and techniques needed to attend any future yoga classes.

Framework Flow – Be prepared to move while getting to know your body like never before. Inspired by various lineages including but not limited to Hatha, Iyengar, Ashtanga, Vinyasa, Katonah Yoga® and Lotus Flow™, Framework Flow is ideal for beginner and advanced students as well as those with physical limitations.

Our Framework includes traditional yoga postures, sequencing and meditation to provide a clear yet powerful understanding of the mechanics of the body while increasing awareness of the self.

Movement – [Yoga Move] Derived from the teachings of Ido Portal, the movement class uses strength building and flexibility techniques to build overall mobility. From animal walks to working with sticks and props, this class will get you out of your norm and back to your roots. Handstands and hand-balancing included.

Fly (yoga/inversion) – Our fly offering combines a yoga flow class with inversion and arm balance techniques giving you a logical approach to getting off your feet. Why wait for a workshop? Make this a constant in your practice. Join us for a weekly exploration in flight.

Restorative Yoga – repair and restore your body with our restorative yoga classes offered three (3) times per week. In this class we use blocks, blankets and chairs which act like scaffolding to support the body while using minimal effort within. Take the time to “prop” yourself up, get comfortable in your own framework and recharge.
